What ceramic coating costs in Dubai
Both packages include the machine polish before the coating. A coating applied over uncorrected paint seals the swirls in, so we do not sell a coating-only tier.

What a ceramic coating does
- Makes water bead and sheet off, so dust rinses away instead of bonding
- Blocks UV, which is the main cause of paint fade and clear-coat failure in Dubai
- Resists bird droppings, bug splatter and tree sap for long enough to wipe them off safely
- Holds a deep, wet-looking gloss for one to two years
- Cuts wash time, because contaminants have far less to grip
What it does not do
- Stop stone chips. Ceramic is a few microns thick. Only paint protection film absorbs impact
- Remove existing scratches. Correction removes defects before the coating goes on, not after
- Make the car self-cleaning. It still needs regular washing, just easier washing
- Last forever. Dubai sun and daily dust shorten every coating. Plan on one to two years
- Fix a failing clear coat. Once clear coat is peeling, coating cannot bond to it

How long does ceramic coating last in Dubai?
One to two years of real protection. Dubai is harder on coatings than most markets because of constant UV, daily dust and frequent washing, so treat multi-year claims with caution. You extend the life by washing with pH-neutral products and topping the coating up with a Ceramic Refresh rather than by buying a longer warranty.
Is ceramic coating worth it in Dubai?
It is worth it if you keep the car more than a year, park outside, and want washing to be easier. The UV and dust load in Dubai is exactly what a coating defends against. It is not worth it if you are about to sell the car, if the clear coat is already failing, or if your main worry is stone chips, in which case paint protection film is the correct product.
Does ceramic coating stop scratches and stone chips?
No. A ceramic coating is only a few microns thick. It adds chemical resistance and gloss, not impact resistance. It will help against very light marring during washing, but it will not stop a stone chip or a key scratch. Paint protection film is the product that absorbs impact.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes, and this is the part most quotes hide. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, including swirls and holograms. If defects are not polished out first, you seal them in for the life of the coating. Every Washii ceramic package includes correction, which is why the price starts at a polish tier rather than a coating-only tier.
Do you come to me, or do you collect the car?
We collect the car and return it, free, anywhere within Dubai. Polishing and coating are done in a controlled indoor environment because the coating has to cure without dust settling on it. That is not something that can be done properly in a villa driveway.
How long does the car stay with you?
The 1-step package takes a full day, morning until evening. The multi-step correction takes up to two and a half days because each correction stage has to be finished and inspected before the next one starts.
Can I wash the car after ceramic coating?
Not for the first seven days, while the coating fully cures. After that, washing is easier than before because dirt and water release from the coated surface. Keep the beading topped up by adding a Ceramic Refresh, AED 99, to any Washii wash.
What is the difference between ceramic coating and graphene coating?
Graphene coatings are ceramic coatings with graphene oxide added to the formula. Suppliers claim less water spotting and better heat dissipation, which matters in a hot climate, but independent long-term testing is thin and the practical difference for a daily-driven car in Dubai is small. Preparation and correction quality affect your result far more than which of the two labels is on the bottle.
