Most people book correction for one visible problem and have three. Look at the car in direct sunlight, then match what you see against this.

What polishing cannot fix
- Scratches that have gone through the clear coat. Those need paint, not polish
- Stone chips. Polishing cannot add material back to the panel

- Unlimited correction passes. Every pass removes clear coat, so there is a hard safe limit

How much does paint correction cost in Dubai?
Washii paint correction starts at AED 1,400 for a sedan and AED 1,500 for an SUV as a single-stage polish, and AED 1,999 for a sedan and AED 2,100 for an SUV as a multi-step correction. Both include a ceramic coating to lock the corrected finish in, plus free collection and return within Dubai.
What is the difference between 1-step and multi-step paint correction?
A 1-step is one machine polishing stage. It clears most light swirls and wash marks and typically restores the large majority of the gloss. A multi-step adds a cutting stage before the polish and a refining stage after it, which is what removes deeper swirls, holograms and light scratches. Multi-step takes two to three times longer, which is the reason for the price difference.
Is paint correction the same as polishing?
In practice yes, the terms are used interchangeably in Dubai. Polishing is the physical process of using an abrasive and a machine to level the surface. Paint correction is the outcome you are buying, which is defects removed rather than filled. Be careful of cheap quotes that use a glaze to temporarily hide swirls. That is not correction, and it washes out.
Does paint correction remove scratches?
It removes scratches that sit within the clear coat. The usual test is your fingernail. If it does not catch in the scratch, correction will very likely remove it. If it catches, the scratch has gone through the clear coat and no amount of polishing will fix it, because polishing removes material rather than adding it.
Is paint correction safe for my car?
It is safe when paint thickness is measured and respected, which is why we gauge the car before starting and monitor throughout. Every correction pass removes a small amount of clear coat, and clear coat is finite. The risk with cheap correction is an operator who chases a perfect finish past the safe limit and leaves the panel needing paint.
How long does paint correction take?
A 1-step takes a full day, morning until evening. A multi-step takes up to two and a half days. We collect the car and return it when it is finished, so you are not waiting.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes. A coating seals in whatever is under it. If swirls are not removed first, they are locked in for the life of the coating. This is why Washii sells correction and coating together rather than offering a coating-only price.
Do you do paint correction at my home?
No. Correction needs controlled lighting to see defects properly and a controlled indoor environment so that dust does not land in the coating while it cures. We collect the car free from anywhere in Dubai and return it when the work is done.
How long do the results last?
The correction itself is permanent, because the defects have been physically removed. How long it looks that way depends entirely on how the car is washed afterwards. Swirl marks are almost always caused by poor washing technique, so a corrected car that goes back to automatic brush washes will be swirled again within months.
